New Delhi, Dec 14: Reliance Jio has been ruling the telecom industry ever since its launch and created a stir in data pricing. Jio not only comes with revised plans at regular intervals but also force its competitors to come up with a better plan or leave market share.
In a latest to this Vodafone has introduced a new plan of Rs 179 for its prepaid users. The new plan will offer unlimited calls and data. Free voice calls are limited to 250 minutes a day and 1000 minutes a week. After the limit users will be charged 30 paise per minute. In the new plan, the user is also limited call on only 300 unique numbers during the validity period, after which they will be charged 30 paise per minute, but the thing to note is that this plan will be available only in Bihar and Jharkhand.
The plan has a validity of 28 days. Next, the unlimited data that is offered is only 2G. Idea offers a similarly priced plan with same 2G data whereas Reliance Jio Rs 149 plan offers unlimited 4G data. So if just data is considered then Reliance Jio would be the best option to choose.
The reason behind this is the availability of Jio 4G network whereas Vodafone and Idea do not have 4G service in all areas.
